Peter Bentler is a Financial Advisor at Beverly Bank & Trust in the beautiful Beverly neighborhood in southern Chicago. Peter's team works with a select group of individuals, families, businesses, and institutions to help them build, manage, preserve, and transition comprehensive wealth. When Peter speaks of comprehensive wealth he is referring to the four cornerstones of wealth: Investments, Credit/Debt, Risk Management, and Trusts and Estates. He does this in an independent, objective, unbiased, and cost-effective manner.

Prior to joining the firm, Peter worked at Smith Barney for seven years, most recently as Financial Advisor with the Executive Financial Services Group. In this capacity, Peter was responsible for working with corporate executives to diversify their concentrated employee stock option plans. Peter’s tenure at Smith Barney also included serving as an Investment Management Analyst for pensions, endowments, and foundations. In this role, Peter was responsible for money manager selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring for $2 billion of invested capital. Peter has also served as a Sales Assistant where he worked with advisors and their clients to offer maximum administrative and operational support and as an Intern, where he coordinated and facilitated retirement planning seminars.

Peter graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a major in Finance from DePaul University. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 Licenses in addition to Illinois Life, Health, Variable Annuities, and Long Term Care Insurance Licenses.

Peter works with Christopher Daniels, a Registered Financial Associate, who is responsible for all account openings, funding, and transfers. Christopher manages daily transactions and client inquiries as well as supports the coordination of sales efforts with investors. She takes pride in building and maintaining client relationships.
