Peter Bentler is a Vice President of Investments at Wayne Hummer Wealth Management located at Beverly Bank and Trust Company in the beautiful Beverly neighborhood in south Chicago.

Prior to joining Wayne Hummer, Peter worked at Smith Barney for 7 years, most recently as Financial Advisor with the Executive Financial Services group. In this capacity, Peter was responsible for working with Corporate Executives to diversify their concentrated employee stock option plans. In addition, Peter’s tenure at Smith Barney included serving as an Investment Management Analyst for Pension, Endowments, and Foundations. Peter was responsible for money manager selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring for two billion dollars of invested capital. Previous positions also included Sales Assistant working with advisors and clients to offer maximum administrative and operational support and as an Intern coordinating and facilitating Retirement Planning Seminars.

Peter graduated with a B.S. in Finance from DePaul University. He has subsequently taken and passed the Series 7 and 66. Additionally, Peter is licensed to sell Life, Health, and Long Term Care Insurance as well as Annuities.

Peter is a currently living Logan Square on the cities north side. He sits on the board of Play for Life International, an organization focusing on children’s athletic programs in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago.
