Greg Whitehead
Gregory Whitehead is a partner at Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen P.C., a law firm specializing in affordable housing and community development. Previously, he served as a founder and officer of Albert, Whitehead P.C. His practice concentrates on affordable housing lending.
Whitehead is board chairman of the Le Royer Foundation, an organization that supports healthcare in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood, and he is a member of Teamwork Englewood’s board of directors. Whitehead also serves on the governing committee of the Illinois Fair Plan Association, an organization that makes basic property insurance available to applicants who have not been able to obtain insurance in the standard marketplace while encouraging the revitalization of urban neighborhoods.
Whitehead earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia.
